My creative exploration led me to visual art in addition to, and often inspired by or inspiring, my poetry and other writing. Surrounded by the magical forest and mountains of Idyllwild, California, and so moved by Julianna Poldi, her work and her treasured Golden Pine Gallery, I found myself longing to paint. Julianna provided me with new tools that gave me a new creative language. Embracing imperfectionism and my brave, I’ve welcomed this new part of my inner artist and found a powerful new way to explore and express myself. You can often find me painting on my deck, under the soaring, soulful pines, or now at Wylldwood Studio & Gallery where I’ve been so graciously welcomed by John Edward Marin, Michael Brown and Michelle Katz (and where you can also find my work available for viewing or purchase).
